Proprietor of Elmy Cycles Steve Grimwood has been in the Cycle trade since the age of 15, where he started as Saturday boy in a local shop in his home town of Bury St Edmunds. Steve joined Elmy Cycles in 1990 and took over as Proprietor in 1992, since then Elmy Cycles has continued in it's tradition of providing Quality Products sold with service and pride. A dedicated Cycling enthusiast, Steve organises many Cycle Events, Shows and Races, is a qualified Cycling Coach & Instructor and has also worked as a GB Team Mechanic.

Mike

Mike is our online sales expert. As you would expect he is a huge cycling fan and rides predominantly off road but is currently training for endurance events both off road and on. He is a keen adventure racer and regularly commutes over 20 miles to get to work.

Harry

Harry is our Chief Mechanic and when he manages to step out of the workshop he rides trials and plays the bass guitar. Harry recently learned the folly of taking a single chainring trials approach to XC in Welsh hills!

Darren

Darren is our newest member of staff and rides predominantly audax events. He commutes every day by bike and is also a strong runner, completing the marathon in 4 hours and 6 minutes.

Andrew

Andrew is our youngest member of staff. You'll find him working on both of our shops on a Saturday and during school holidays. Andrew rides cross country and road when he's not studying or working.

Dan

Dan is working through the summer when he is not slaving away at university! He has been here a few years now and is often found in the workshop, on the shop floor, or attending to the kettle.
